Conquest...

My travelling around Europe started! That was one of my main purpose for this year. After a month in 2008, three countries are in my list of "where I've been".

UK- London, Swindom & Maidenhead

Because my role at Alcatel -Lucent being global coordinator, I had the opportunity to attend the AIESEC International's partners dinner in London. In aditional meeting together with other AIESEC Global coordinators of DHL, TCS, UBS, Microsoft among others in a conference made by the ER team ofAIESEC International just for us.

Taking advantage of my visit to the UK, I planned to have the Induction Day for our new interns at ALU in UK during that time. I met my managers & Interns personally. My visit ended with our typical get to know the city together with my sweetie :) Perfect!

The Netherlands- Rotterdam

Finally after many plans, The dream became true. I arrived to Rotterdam. During a week I was working from AIESEC International office and Ivancito's place. It was really amazing being in my sweetie house, share interest conversation with friends, met important people and live the Ivan's working life. An unforgettable week.

Belgium- Bruselles, Bruges

After of a hard week in our professional lives (Lease chicharrones!!!) We decided to spend our weekend at Belgium! The meet point between Rotterdam & Paris! Our weekend was full of colombian friends including "Ron viejo de Caldas", a wonderful city, beers and visiting the Venezia of Belgium: Bruges or Brujas! Amazing!!! :D

A million voices against FARC - PARIS

The time has come to use our voices. To cease the silence which has allowed FARC to survive. To make sure that every leader in the world, every guerrilla, hears us when we say: We reject and condemn FARC – EP (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – People’s Army). The fighting and violence must stop NOW.



Again and again, FARC has been allowed to keep captive the thousands of kidnapped prisoners it has wrongfully detained for decades because their lies and tricks are repeated over and over again, to the point where nobody questions their veracity.



There are few acts more destructive to the dignity of a people than the wholesale kidnapping of innocent civilians. Over the past few years, FARC has continued to illegal and unjustly hold captive the thousands of Colombians who committed no crime other than being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.



Meanwhile, they continue to reap the benefits of a vast drug production and trafficking empire, which has given them the money and resources necessary to commit countless crimes against the people of our nation. FARC’s unjustifiable actions have left our country degraded and stricken with poverty after more than forty years of simply trying to defend its people’s security and liberty.


Colombia, Colombians, friends from all over the world, today we are united in our cause:
